Cynthia Henderson - Founder and Artistic Director
Cynthia is an Associate Professor at Ithaca College. She's a Fulbright Scholar, member of Actors' Equity Association, professional actor & director, and the author of The Actor's Landscape. Her work within PASC has earned her the Outstanding Contribution to Social Justice Award from the College Student Personnel Association of New York State. She has also been cited as one of the 20 Outstanding Women You Should Know in Central New York by the Cayuga Radio Group. Her personal drive is based on a life long quest to address the issues of injustice and "make the world a better place, one person at a time, if that's what it takes." Amanda LaForge - Co-Founder
Amanda is an independent stage manager who began facilitating Theatre for Social Change (TSC)
workshops in 2006 under the guidance of professor Cynthia Henderson of Ithaca College and Dr. Emelda
Samba of the University of Yaounde 1 in Cameroon. She currently resides in Sarasota, FL where she is a
dancer with PURE Sarasota, a part-time stage manager and a passionate coordinator for TSC: Spirit of

Mackenzie Seewagen - Executive Assistant
Mackenzie is pursuing a BFA in Stage Management with a minor in Education Studies at Ithaca College.
After taking Cynthia Henderson's "Theatre for a Social Change" course, Mackenzie was fascinated by
theatre's power to give voices to the socially oppressed. Her academic and professional experience as a
stage manager and director has encouraged her to pursue her dreams of teaching the positive impact

Sebastián De la Paz - Project Assistant
Sebastián is getting a B.A. in Theatre Studies and a B.F.A. in Screenwriting at Ithaca College. He has
worked in multiple local and academic theatrical productions in Ithaca as well as in Bogotá, Colombia. He is
thrilled to be a part of PASC and looks forward to make a positive impact in his community.

Anchal Dhir - Project Assistant
Anchal Dhir is a singer/actress, studying as a Bachelor of Music with an Outside Field of Theater Arts Management in Ithaca College. She was very blessed to have studied in high school at the Somerset Gifted and Talented program as a meisner based acting major. She absolutely loves all art: music, opera, musical theater, plays, TV/Film, dance, writing, etc. When Anchal is not performing or practicing, she loves teaching guided meditations/yoga/journaling classes through IC, writing, travelling with her mom, painting, and participating in social activism, such as spending time with the residents in the MacCormick Maximum Security Center in New York, or leading her newly created organization “Rejuvenate for Reform.”
